Program Overview

Pathways to Employment & Financial Stability is a free adult literacy program offered by Walters Way – Regaining Your Life Foundation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The program is open to adults age 18 and older who want help finding a job, completing applications, writing a resume, and learning how to manage their money.

Participants will learn how to read job postings, fill out job applications, and create a simple resume. The program also teaches budgeting and money management skills, such as reading bills and pay stubs, creating a monthly budget, and understanding basic banking. Classes include hands-on activities and step-by-step guidance in a supportive environment.

The program is designed for adults facing job or financial challenges, including those experiencing food insecurity, caregivers, and individuals returning to the community after incarceration. Classes are held at the Walters Way community location in Tulsa. No prior experience is needed, and all materials are provided at no cost.
