Program Overview

Our project is designed to address the critical educational and economic barriers faced by underserved individuals in Polk County. Through targeted literacy programs, workforce development, and community outreach, we aim to empower participants with essential skills for lifelong success.

We will implement a multi-tiered approach:
  • Education & Literacy Support – Providing GED preparation, adult literacy classes, and tutoring services to help individuals gain essential academic skills and credentials.
  • Workforce Readiness – Partnering with local businesses and career centers to offer job training, resume assistance, and employment placement opportunities.
  • Community Engagement & Support – Hosting workshops on financial literacy, digital skills, and career advancement to equip participants with knowledge for self-sufficiency.
Our program aligns with the Statement of Impact by increasing educational attainment, reducing unemployment, and supporting economic mobility. By leveraging partnerships, data-driven strategies, and personalized mentorship, we will create sustainable change and measurable outcomes for the community.
