Nadia joined the Pathway Program with her parents as a high school sophomore in 2022, dreaming of becoming a NASA aerospace engineer. Initial assessments showed that Nadia excelled academically, yet she wasn't enrolled in any honors or AP classes. Pathway mentors helped her enroll in honors and AP classes, explore postsecondary programs with aerospace engineering programs, and she even met a NASA intern! Now a senior, Nadia is a self-taught pianist and has achieved a 33 on her ACT. With the help of the program, she applied to top universities like Duke University and MIT and is a finalist for The Match Scholarship, which could grant her a full scholarship if accepted.
