Program Overview

Founded in 1978, the Pascagoula Adult Learning Center has a long tradition of academic excellence. Our programs continue to expand to address the needs of our community and the surrounding areas. We have earned the respect of the Jackson County community and pride ourselves as a premier education and workforce skills training provider in the area.

The Adult Education Division of the Pascagoula School District offers a comprehensive program that ensures that adult education is accessible to all who seek to
improve their academic skills and become self-sufficient community members. Our courses are FREE and are
open to adults and out-of-school youth ages 17 or older. A flexible schedule of day and night classes is available to meet the needs of those currently in the workforce. Classes are provided in basic skills development, high school equivalency preparation, and workforce development and training.

Cost Info

The Pascagoula Adult Learning Center offers free classes that help students prepare for a high school equivalent diploma. We are also partnered with The Jackson County Literacy Council and provide resources for the ESL classes.
