Program Overview
The Orange City Public Library offers two English Language Learning programs for adults. For beginning students, the library offers a basic English class that meets twice a week. For more advanced students, or for those who are unable to attend the class, there is a tutoring program. Volunteer tutors meet with students one-on-one once a week; time and location are flexible. Since the program started in 2014, the library's English program has served over 50 language-learning adults, and over 35 volunteers have served as tutors. Various other education programs are also available throughout the year.
