Program Overview
Since 2010, the Northshore Technical Community College WorkReady U - Adult Education Department provides adult education and literacy services to our citizens across the region. A dedicated team of instructors prepare students for the HiSET exam to earn their high school equivalency diploma while readying them for a successful future in college or a career. Our program has seen tremendous growth over the years. We have five centers in four parishes providing morning, afternoon, and evening classes. Additionally, we provide English as a Second Language classes at our locations in Hammond and Slidell.
