Program Overview

The City of Philadelphia supports a network of 35+ agencies offering adult education and career readiness classes throughout the city. These classes help residents get the skills they need for work and life. Free classes are available, and learners can participate in-person, virtual, and hybrid classes.

Topics include:
Reading, writing, and math
Basic computer skills
High school equivalency preparation
English for speakers of other languages
