Program Overview

Our Musical Motion program brings new meaning to playtime! It's a FREE learn & play class for young children, ages 0-5, and their caregivers that encourages bonding while developing children's early learning and literacy skills. Each class location meets weekly and focuses on creative activities that enhance brain development and build preschoolers' social, language, and motor skills.

Musical Motion helps children gain crucial skills that prepare them for school success. Parents will also learn effective activities that they can do at home to help their child thrive. Parents enjoy playing with their children and socializing with other parents and children. You will also have access to Parenting Educators who give age-related paretnting tips each class and can answer questions about parenting and your child's development.

Musical Motion has been such a blessing and wonderful experience for our daughter, Ruth. She was only 9 months old when the pandemic hit and shut everything down. We were really worried that she would lack the important social skills children develop at that age. I was struggling to find programs where Ruthie could be around other kids her age and her get the enrichment she so desperately needed. Then my neighbor told me about Musical Motion and how great it has been for her two daughters. I can still remember Ms. Elizabeth's incredible energy and smiling face the moment we walked in that first time. We felt so welcomed like we've been coming for years. Apprehensive in the beginning, but it didn't take long for our daughter to start thriving. Musical Motion helped my child learn how to interact with other kids, have fun, and be confident in herself. We have watched Ruthie learn how to speak and communicate better, sing and dance like no one is watching, and she also picked up a little Spanish! We have come a long way in the last couple years and we owe so much of that to Ms. Elizabeth and the Musical Motion program. We look forward to it every week and love hearing the stories of how Ruthie tries to “help" teach the class these days. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this program. I tell everyone about it….literally everyone. All of my neighbors and random strangers with small children in the aisles of the grocery store all know about Musical Motion. We owe so much of our daughter's success to it.
