Program Overview

The Morristown Neighborhood House has established an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, primarily with the focus on worker/employer communications for day laborers, the large response from the community broadened the focus of the class to general writing, reading, and speaking English.

Each class is two hours long and is offered twice a week . Partnering up with Drew University's Center for Civic Engagement, the ESOL program is able to offer small group and one on one tutoring.

A strong emphasis is placed on cultural trips to significant landmarks and a technology component reinforces learning.
