Program Overview

MHP provides afterschool homework clubs, four days a week, September to June, for children in grades K-5, at four of its affordable housing properties in Montgomery County MD. Children from the nearby community may sometimes enroll, space permitting. Participants receive assistance in completing homework, small group support in reading and math, and access to computer labs. Trained literacy specialists provide the reading support. A variety of enrichment activities are also provided.
