Mirror of Grace Outreach is committed to implementing
educational programs that provides awareness, opportunities, behavior
development, financial and personal growth. To assist troubled youth and their
families with developing positive life skills and life experiences so that they
may pursue productive and rewarding lives.

Established in November 2010, Mirror of Grace Outreach has
received the strong support from the community, public agencies, private
foundations, and the social services community as a whole.
Our leadership in reshaping the lives of youth and their
families has been rewarded with the continued support of many organizations.
We believe that what we do is an experience for a lifetime change
in our participants. Nothing is more important to us than continuing this
commitment to excellence and leadership.
Our Computer Literacy Training program assist individuals
with little to no computer exposure and those that want to increase essential
computer awareness. We provide teaching on internet usage and various
components available. Our program provides computer software application
training to assist each individual in obtaining and developing the
understanding and computer skills to meet the needs of today. Training Program
is a total of eight (8) classes – 16 hours of training. Students who
attend all scheduled classes will
receive a Certificate of Completion. Mirror of Grace Computer Training Program
is License with the Louisiana Board of Regents.
We provide community support, skills training, counseling
and crisis intervention to our program participants. Our job readiness and retention classes –
resume/career development workshops and computer training program assist each
participant with the skills needed for today's workplace. Our Parenting Wisely
Program is an evidence base program created to give parents an alternative to
effective positive parenting skills.
Reducing the recidivism rate affects the entire community.
Mirror of Grace Outreach considers this area of focus an important part of our
vision for an improved community. We provide supportive programs and services
to Reentry participants that prepare the incarcerated population for release
and after into society.
We offer our returning citizens all the Soft Skills and
Technology Training needed to become successful in the workforce. Our Courses
include: Leadership, Prospecting, Appointment Setting, Sales closing, Team
Building, Winning Attitude, Time Management, Improving Focus, Custom Service,
Creative and Critical Thinking, and Business Etiquette.
A key to reducing recidivism is providing education and
awareness with economic opportunity. It is our goal to assist our participants
that have made wrong choices in the correctional system a way out the
correction system. This is an important step in assisting returning citizens to
become productive members of our communities and it sets an example for others
in the community.
We provide service to address Opioid misuse prevention,
targeting women and girls in the Greater Baton Rouge region. The aim of the
Program is to develop and implement prevention strategies, educational
activities, specifically tailored to address the unique needs of women across
the lifespan. The United States has seen an alarming rise in overdose deaths
from prescription painkillers and nonprescription Opioid among women. A unique
combination of biological, health, and social factors has led to the growing
Opioid epidemic among women.
