Student and Volunteer Success Stories

Our library partners with our elementary school to offer free tablet classes to 5th and 6th grade students. Our goal is to teach these kids how to checkout free ebooks and audiobooks using their electronic devices. Riley, a very excited 5th grader, said, "I came to the library to check out this Minecraft book. But it was checked out already. Now I can read it on my phone!"

Lila, a senior library guest, couldn't use a computer mouse. But after a few one-on-one training sessions, she now emails and created her own Facebook account.
