Program Overview

MC Learning offers adult learners' opportunities to build essential technology and digital skills through our tiered Computer and Digital Literacy programs. Our Workforce Development Workshop provides hands-on support for job seekers, including skills and abilities assessments, résumé development, interview preparation, and follow-up coaching. In addition, with support from trained tutors and our accredited immigration legal team, our Citizenship Preparation Program offers both one-on-one and classroom-based instruction to help individuals strengthen their civics knowledge, reading and writing skills, and test comprehension.

Personal and professional development were key outcomes Celia achieved through participation in the Workforce Development Workshop. This comprehensive, five-week, hands-on course guides participants through creating a personal inventory of skills and abilities, building a strong résumé, and developing effective job search and application strategies, including interview preparation and follow-up.

This practical approach allowed Celia to apply for employment aligned with her skills and experience. Through the workshop, she gained basic computer and online navigation skills necessary to complete job applications independently. Most importantly, Celia experienced increased confidence in her abilities, strengthening her readiness to enter the workforce and pursue long-term employment opportunities.
