Program Overview

The English for Adult Learners program helps students build English language fluency in order to function at a higher level in social and professional interactions. We utilize a teaching model based on tailoring the curriculum to the needs of each learner and teaching for functional language use in real world situations. Mattie Rhodes Center is housed in a neighborhood with a large refugee and immigrant population. This program aims to serve our local residents by providing education that will empower them to achieve their full potential both in their work and in their community.
