Program Overview

The mission of the Martinsville Adult and Career Education Program is to raise the literacy levels of adults 18 and over who need to upgrade their workforce skills. Our program goals are to provide high quality customer service to all students, transition adults to employment and/or postsecondary education, and increase the number of GED® credentials awarded. We offer day and evening classes as well as classes that meet the needs of the English Language Learner (ELL) population. Our classes meet from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday. Cost Info

All programming is free. There is a cost for the GED test however there are scholarships available to cover this cost.
