The Maplewood Community Library offers ESOL classes, Citizenship Preparation classes, and classes to study for the TASC diploma (during school year).
We have literacy aides to help school age children with homework and to encourage reading. A dedicated volunteer assists children to improve their math skills.
We have a teen program where teens receive guidance and training in life skills.
The library is located on Bus route #10,

Hours of operation: Library HOURS Mon-Thurs 11:30am - 7pm Fri 11:30-5:30 Sat 10 -2
Cost info: All programs are free. ESOL classes are held M-F 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM taught by library staff and volunteers. Our classes are supplemented by those of ESOL Associates of Rochester on Th 5:00 - 6:45 PM and Sa 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Citizenship Preparation classes are held M, W 5:00 - 6:30 PM and W 12:00 AM - 1:00 PM All are welcome. Open enrollment, no minimum attendance requirement.
