Program Overview

Improving our community by advancing essential literacy skills for adults through education and advocacy in the City of Winchester, Frederick County, and Clarke County. A dedicated and trained group of volunteers provide one-on-one, small group, and classroom tutoring in reading, writing, math, Pre-GED, English comprehension, computers, and citizenship. In addition, financial literacy is integrated to support adults with creating a budget, balancing a checkbook, and utilizing online banking. Tutoring is available mornings and evenings to accommodate varying schedules.

Hours of operation: 9:00am-5:00pm

Cost info: Minimal fee for tutoring services. Partial and full scholarships available.
