Program Overview

Literacy Volunteers of the Pollard Memorial Library provides free, confidential, and flexibly scheduled tutoring in either basic literacy or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Tutor and student pairs meet at mutually agreeable times and locations in the Greater Lowell area. A potential student must be over the age of 16, not enrolled in school, and willing to commit to regular tutoring. Please note that there is a waiting list for services. Literacy Volunteers of the Pollard Memorial Library is an affiliate of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts.
