Program Overview

Literacy Volunteers of Central CT serves adults 18 years and older providing one-to-one and small group tutoring services in English for Speakers of Other Languages, Basic Literacy and math. In addition, LVCC prepares adults for the citizenship exam, offers digital literacy classes, and supports learners with workforce readiness. Communities served are New Britain, Middletown, Berlin, Bristol, Burlington, Cromwell, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, Haddam, Marlborough, Meriden, Middlefield, Plainville, Portland, Southington, and Wallingford. Registration is by appointment: 860.229.7323.
