Student and Volunteer Success Stories
"The warmth and friendliness of all the staff and tutors make me feel like part of a family."
GED Student, Alicia
"We support LSW because we value its mission to help adults improve their lives through education. As a seven-year volunteer in LSW's Adult Basic Education program I see first hand how the knowledgeable staff leverages our volunteer efforts to help students meet their individual goals."
Volunteer Tutors, Yvonne & Harvey
"I have been a tutor at LSW for many years, and Scott and I are supporters of LSW because we firmly believe in the value of education and community involvement. We have seen and experienced first-hand the positive energy created when students and tutors work together, not only to achieve academic goals, but to expand knowledge, experience and confidence. We believe this is a blueprint for creating a strong, successful, diverse, and caring community."
Volunteer Tutors, Mary & Scott
