Program Overview

The SAReads program, under the auspices of Literacy San Antonio Inc., works with our partner school districts to provide tutors for kindergarten through 3rd grade students enrolled in our grade-level reading program. In addition, SAReads operates a book bank which has donated more than 143,800 books for home libraries and organizations serving children.
