Program Overview

Since 1974, adults at Literacy Network have built their skills for improved opportunities. Free classes and tutoring are available for learning English as a Second Language (all levels, Basic through English for College and Career); earning a GED or HSED (options available in Spanish and English); becoming a U.S. citizen; and improving basic reading, writing, and English language skills. Through our programs, adults in Dane County:

• find meaningful, family-sustaining jobs

• communicate better with their children's schools, doctors, coworkers, and others in the community

• gain their U.S. citizenship

• obtain their high school credential

• take the next step toward college and other certifications

• learn the basic reading, writing, and English language skills that support them in all areas of life
