Program Overview

Literacy KC provides free adult education classes to people in the Kansas City Metro area. We believe in the multifaceted nature of literacy by teaching reading, writing, math, digital, and English skills. Many students come to Literacy KC in order to gain the skills necessary to obtain a job, get a promotion, seek a high school diploma, and to better their lives and the lives of their family members.
