Program Overview
At the Manatee Literacy Council, people can learn many important things to help them in life. We have programs that teach adults how to read and write better, so they can do more things on their own. Learning these skills makes people more independent. They can read books, speak to native English speakers, and understand important information. When you come to the Manatee Literacy Council, you join a community that supports and helps you grow. You can meet new friends and learn together. It's a place where everyone can feel proud of their progress and be more confident in their abilities.
After you complete a short application on our website, one of our staff will contact you to ask some questions, then we will schedule you for a short assessment of your currently English skills. This is only to help us know how best to help you learn English.
