Program Overview
Literacy Action of Central Arkansas is a local nonprofit that provides free reading and English help to adults in the Little Rock and Conway areas. Anyone over 18 who needs to improve their reading, writing, or English skills is welcome to enroll to be placed with a trained volunteer tutor or in a small class. We can also help with citizenship or GED preparation. Many of our classes are online and can be taken from home. Most students and tutors meet for 2-3 hours a week, and the location is flexible. All our services are free.
To enroll or volunteer, call us at 501-372-7323 or visit our office in the Main library at 100 Rock Street in Little Rock. In Conway, call 501-329-7323 or visit us at 1900 Tyler Street in the Faulkner County Library. More info can be found on our website at www.LiteracyActionAR.org
