Program Overview
Library programs are offered for children birth through 18 years of age that promote reading, offer fun activities, and encourage lifelong learning. Additional children's programming is offered to develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Summer reading programs take place each summer to encourage year-long reading, lifelong learning, and to retain knowledge and skills that were developed during the school year. Adult programs are offered in a variety of topics including arts and crafts, book discussions, technology skills, financial literacy, and information literacy. Programs are offered at all four Hernando County Public Library locations: Main Library at 238 Howell Avenue, Brooksville; West Hernando at 6335 Blackbird Avenue, Brooksville; Spring Hill at 9220 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill; and East Hernando at 6457 Windmere Road, Brooksville.
