Program Overview
The PLAN (Parent Leaders Advisory Network) increases the number of adults actively engaged in improving the reading and math proficiency of young children. Since 2014, The PLAN has conducted literacy workshops at Dobbins Career and Technical Education (CTE) High School that have helped neighboring families (includes teen parents, grands as parents and formerly incarcerated parents) teach their children the importance of learning literacy, art and math through play. Between 2020 and 2023, most of our workshops were virtual. Now, we are partnered with T.M. Peirce Elementary School and offer monthly workshops in person...Contact us to join in the fun!
