Our Fall Learning and Growing Experience Program will open doors for the ninth consecutive year to the underprivileged and impoverished youth of greater Lansing. Through this program, we have been able to teach discipline, respect, and the importance of education. It is through the improvement of reading and writing that those youth involved in our program can become more confident and secure in their lives as well as their roles in school and society. Our attempt to keep children in school as they take part in our functions has proven to work, as we have seen a 75% return in enrollment. Meals and snacks are often provided to those that attend our learning program. Friendships are built between those that attend and those that help instruct. No one in our program is judged for any inability to read or write. Creative and interesting material is used to encourage students to become their own person and learn in their own way.
Hours of operation: M-F 4:30pm - 7:30pm
Cost info: No cost
