Program Overview
HiSET preparation is the main focus of our council, but we do all types of adult learning and provide one-on-one tutoring as requested by our clients. All services are free and individualized to the needs of the client. We also began a pilot program this year serving in the local school district to help students playing catch up in core subject areas due to COVID-19.
Cost Info
All services are free. PSI does have a testing fee for the HiSET exam. Qualifying individuals may have their test fees covered by MOCA.Student and Volunteer Success Stories

- Thanks to my teacher Josh (wish I knew how to tag him) for being such a great teacher, taking time to know you and how you learn things. He does such an amazing job, very intelligent guy really!! He moves fast but lets you learn the way that's best for you so totally makes it a easy comfortable process. And big thank you to the Laclede Literacy Council - an AmeriCorps program as well for giving the confidence and also being patient/working with me.
