Program Overview

The College & Career Center has helped over 2,300 students achieve their dreams to obtain a high school diploma or GED.

Our Mission:

To implement a fast paced instructional program designed for at-risk students to complete high school graduation requirements, provide college and career opportunities, and foster high self-esteem, as well as social and scholastic skills in a safe and responsible environment.

Our Vision:

To reach out to young adults and inspire them to fulfill their graduation requirements while building a bridge to higher education enabling them to become productive members of society.

C&CC Offers:

The La Joya ISD College & Career Center (C&CC) is an educational entity that primarily targets and services 5th year non-traditional seniors between the age of 18-26 who were unable to complete graduation requirements with their cohort. With a clear focus towards graduation goals and college and career readiness, students are offered opportunities to obtain a high school diploma, HSEP / GED (High School Equivalency Program), post-secondary support and flexible schedule for those students who qualify.
