KIPP Chicago Schools Adult Education Program

Program Overview

Are you a parent of a KIPP elementary school student who hasn't completed high school? This free program can help you earn your High School Diploma or GED!

You can choose between two flexible options:

Online High School Diploma – Study at your own pace with Penn Foster using a computer or phone.

In-Person GED Classes – Attend classes twice a week at Malcolm X College with a dedicated instructor

Throughout the program, KIPP teachers will support you through calls, texts, and emails, helping with challenging subjects and connecting you to local resources. After completing the program, you'll have the opportunity to earn additional certifications—such as Pharmacy Technician or IT Support Specialist—and celebrate your achievement at a graduation ceremony at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
