Program Overview

Prior to entering Adult Education/High School Equivalency classes (HSE), prospective students must first attend an orientation. Following orientation, you will take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) so we can place you in the proper classroom with the appropriate materials. For further information or to set up an orientation appointment, please call the Adult Education office at 815-802-8300 or email GED@kcc.edu.
English as a Second Language
Prior to entering ESL classes, students must attend an orientation session. The orientation consists of completing registration forms and an assessment to place you in the proper classroom with the appropriate materials. Orientation and placement testing will take place on the first day of classes.
