Program Overview

The KLove Hope Center opened in Detroit in 2015. A part of the international mission serving organization World Hope, the KLove Hope Center is positioning itself to be a center of hope for families in the City of Detroit. Our mission at World Hope is to give the hope and love of Christ to the hopeless.
It is our fervent desire to bring wholeness to the broken by seeing lives changed in
 many ways.

One of our most dedicated programs is the REFUGE program. This program is dedicated to helping children have a safe place to go and learn during non school hours. Here volunteers are helping the children and their parents overcome education barriers through tutoring, homework help, and our signature Parent Child learning together projects.

Parents in need of reading assistance come at the same time their children are in their programs to meet with volunteers. Parents also get help with studying for GED exams, and links to other resources for family or individual needs.

Although the primary focus of the program is educational assistance the kids really like the healthy snacks, and the game room!

Join us. We are located at the corner of Hague and Woodward. All of our services are fee and open to the public. The REFUGE program is Monday through Friday afterschool 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. We have extended hours during school holiday breaks and summer. Parents are also able to visit during the day time business hours. We also have special family fun and educational activities throughout the year!

We are not currently accepting volunteers.
