Program Overview

What is Adult Basic Education?

The Jones College Adult Education program offers preparation classes to help students obtain a High School Equivalency (HSE) either through passing the GED or HiSET tests. Classes are designed to promote college entrance, vocational-technical education, employment, and job promotion. We also offer ESL classes at our Ellisville location.

Who is eligible for the Adult Education Program?

The Adult Education Programs are offered to students ages 16 and above who are not enrolled in high school. (Please call for more information on documentation requirements for 16 and 17-year-olds.)

What is the cost?
The Adult Education classes are free of charge.
