Program Overview

The Children's Museum has been a leader in our community for Pre-K and early childhood development programs. The Ignite Initiative targets children aged 6-14.
Through the Ignite initiative and partnering with area schools, and community and homeschooling groups we want to make an even greater impact.

We have a wide variety of educational programs available for preK-12th grade students. Please check our website www.The-Childrens-Museum.org for an updated list.

In addition to our in-house programs, the Museum runs numerous outreach services to area schools and like minded organizations.

Our on-site camps, classes, programs and special events are low/no costs. Student scholarships are available for all of our programs. Off-site programs are low/no cost.

Student and Volunteer Success Stories

- Testimonials from teachers whose students attended our programs include;

"All the students were actively involved throughout the lesson"

"Even the students who tend to be disinterested were engaged."

"I wish my students could have a program like this every week."

"The field trips for Orange Street Elementary students are paid for by the H.O.S.T group. Sometimes there may not be a lot of money in the budget for a fun yet educational field trip. The first grade students at Orange Street loved visiting the Children's Museum. Not only were they learning, they were also able to interact with everything they were learning about. Which I believe makes learning even more fun."
