Program Overview
IFSI's Child Enrichment Program supports early learning, academic readiness, and positive youth development for immigrant families, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive approaches. Across all children's programming, IFSI provides multilingual instruction, ensuring accessibility while advancing English learning. Program activities promote overall personal development, creating an inclusive environment where children can participate regardless of language proficiency or prior educational experience.
IFSI has been providing Adult ESOL programming, in person and online, since 2020. Instructors are multilingual and augment ESOL instruction with digital literacy and career readiness coaching. In 2024 IFSI launched our ESOL Career Bridge Program addressing language barriers and enhancing job training programs by reinforcing skills development through job and sector-specific language acquisition. This approach provides a pathway to adult literacy and a pathway to a career.
Cost Info
IFSI offers low-cost programming in both our Adult Education and Child Enrichment (after-school and summer) programs. To the degree that our philanthropic resources allow, through scholarships and fee waivers, most program participants do not pay for these services.Education services
