Program Overview

English for Speakers of Other Languages classes are offered 4 nights per week. Students can register for either Monday and Wednesday nights, OR Tuesday and Thursday nights.There are five levels of English instruction, which begin at no English speaking experience. Our classes focus on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Students practice pronunciation and learn new vocabulary.

High School Equivalency classes are offered two nights per week. Students must attend both Tuesday and Thursday nights to meet attendance requirements. These classes are designed to prepare you to pass either the Hi-Set or GED to earn your high school equivalency diploma. Students will earn their High School Equivalency Credential, a document which shows that a person has the skills and knowledge of a high school graduate.
