Program Overview
The Healing After Trauma Program is a safe and supportive program for adults, youth, and families who have experienced trauma, stress, or hardship. This program is open to community members who want to heal, grow, and learn healthy ways to cope with life's challenges.
Participants meet in small groups and take part in guided activities, reflection, and skill-building exercises. The program focuses on emotional healing, building confidence, learning coping skills, and restoring hope. Youth activities include age-appropriate lessons, creative exercises, and coloring pages. Adults receive guided worksheets and support to help them move forward in a healthy way.
No one is required to share personal details. Participation is always voluntary. The program is supportive, educational, and faith-centered, but not therapy.
Sessions are held in a safe, welcoming location in the community. Program dates and locations are shared after registration. Volunteers and facilitators are trained and trauma-informed.
This program is open to anyone seeking healing, growth, and a fresh start.

FreeStudent and Volunteer Success Stories
D House Of Angels has been such a blessing for my family. I was connected to them during one of the hardest times in my life. Not only were they able to help my family as we dealing with homelessness but they were able to get us connected with other resources. They have provided my family with much needed food and clothing. The founder Dalaina Stevens has been a phenomenal emotional support but she has become a life long friend. She continues to help my family as we navigate starting our lives over. I am forever grateful for them.
