Program Overview

Hawthorne Education Center Adult and Family Literacy Program offers a variety of programs to adults age 17 and older: Adult Basic Skills, Citizenship Preparation, English as a Second Language, GED Preparation, Rochester Family Literacy and Work Skills.

Adults, 17 years and older (who are not enrolled in another K-12 program) can improve their skills in reading, writing, math and computer. Face to face classes are available with a teacher, as well as computer-based programs for use both in and away from school. These classes can help you get prepared for college and/or employment.

Cost Info

Some students pay tuition, some do not based on visa/residency type.
