Program Overview
Hawthorne's Adult Education Program offers two classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. One is for English language learners and serves all levels. The other is a combined HSE/ABE (high school equivalency preparation and adult basic education) class. This class serves those who want to complete their high school education and others who need to improve their reading, language arts, and math skills to prepare for college, career training or better employment. We have caring teachers and aides, small class sizes, and employment and financial coaches and resources to help students complete their education, career, and financial goals.
