A couple of weeks ago, Bellah came home and said she wanted to try the Harrison Middle School after-school program out so I let her. I figured it would give me an extra hour or so to catch up on some work. Well, I'll just tell you now….
I'm not sure what magic they are using down there with those kids, but Bellah literally begs me to not pick her up until the. Very. Last. Second. Of. The. Day. Today, embarrassingly, I signed her out and then she put a guilt trip on me again to pleasssseeeese let her stay for “just a little longer". She begged me to go run some errands and then come back. So I walked her back inside and let her stay. I told her “no more of this mom guilt trip" stuff after today. Once I sign her out, she's done for the day. I'm not embarrassing myself anymore lol
And on another amazing note, this program is free—funded for all kids through the Harrison school. Harrison Middle School and their teachers are amazing. Thank you Staci Tucker, Daniel Stephanie Benton, Sarah Bray, Kevin Kaesar, Shandon Amber, Sarah Martin, Debby Witty, Brooklyn Williams. Amanda DePriest, Ronda Roberts, Miranda Murphy, Britney Cowles, Patty Terry,Maribeth O'Dell, and Kelly Scoggins. You all are truly the Best of the Best and we love you all.
