Program Overview
Hardin/LaRue Adult Education is the lead program for the Heartland Adult Education Consortium which includes Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Hart, and LaRue County Adult Education programs. Hardin/LaRue Adult Education has always been about the future. For all Kentuckians to prosper, every citizen must be prepared to function well in the workforce, the community, and the home. The bottom line is simple. If Kentuckians have a good education:
- They can compete for good jobs
- They can support their families
- Their children are more likely to succeed in school and beyond
- The Commonwealth can make a compelling case for companies opening or expanding their businesses in Kentucky
Hardin/LaRue Adult Education, a top ranked state program, offers classes to help people prepare for the GED Ready Test (mandated in the state of Kentucky), Official GED Test, Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE), College Entrance Assessment, Kentucky Essential Skills Certification (KESC), Kentucky Career Readiness Certification (KCRC), Kentucky Para Educator Assessment (KPA), college preparation, and the Armed Forces Entrance exam (ASVAB).
