Program Overview

The Gilbert Adult Learning Program provides a comprehensive range of educational opportunities to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Whether you are looking to earn your high school credential, advance your career, or improve your language skills, we have programs designed to support you.

We offer Adult Basic/Secondary Education (ABE/ASE) classes to help you prepare for the GED exam or earn your High School Diploma. We provide instruction in:

  • Reading
  • Math
  • Writing
  • Social Studies
  • Science
Our ESOL classes are designed for individuals who want to learn or improve their English proficiency. Non-native speakers develop essential skills in:


  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Listening
To further support your success, our program integrates additional training to prepare you for the workforce and active community participation:
  • Workforce Training: We provide training to help you gain the skills needed to secure employment, advance in your career, or prepare for specific job roles. This includes practical training to help you succeed in today’s competitive labor market.
  • Digital Literacy: You will gain the essential technology skills needed to navigate the modern world, including how to use computers, software, and the internet effectively for work, education, and daily life.
  • Civics Education: We offer instruction to help you understand the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, navigate government and community systems, and become an informed, engaged participant in your community.
