The Scranton-Lackawanna Human Development Agency (SLHDA), Inc., is a large, unbrella community-based organization that provides services to hundreds of low income individuals and children each year. Program s include Workforce Investment Act training and services, Head Start and early childhood programs, home weatherization, chore service, food distribution, and welfare retraining projects.
