The new WIOA legislation will require a change in the current performance metrics. At this time, our program is assessed on improvement in an Educational Function Level (EFL) using either CASAS or TABE. In addition to this WIOA will also measure the percentage of students earning a high school diploma and the percentage of students continuing in post secondary training. Our program has consistently achieved the improvement in EFL level. The percentage of students of students passing all 4 GED exams has consistently increased in the new test was offered in January 2014. 70% of our students are between the age of 16 and 24; however, we also have students in their 60's. Garrett County is located in the most western area of Maryland the the overall population is 99% caucasian. As a result of this demographic, 98% of our students are caucasian. The number of male students are usually slightly greater than female students. We do have a growing hipanic population requiring ESL services.
