Program Overview
We are a team of retired educators committed to strengthening literacy across the whole family. We provide supportive, step-by-step reading instruction for adults who struggle to read, students who are below grade level, and learners with disabilities who need extra time and individualized strategies. We also offer tutoring for students in high school and those preparing for the GED, focusing on reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension skills needed for academic success. To build learning at home, we host Family Reading Nights that make reading fun-bringing parents, grandparents, and children together through books, games, and shared activities that grow confidence and create positive reading habits.
