Program Overview
Our Financial Literacy Program is a free program designed to help individuals and families learn how to better manage their money. The program is open to community members, with a focus on low-income families and those who want to build stronger financial skills. Participants will learn basic topics such as budgeting, saving, understanding credit, paying bills, and planning for future expenses. Classes are taught in a clear, easy-to-understand way, and no prior knowledge is needed. Sessions are held at a local community location and may also include handouts and simple activities to help reinforce learning. Space may be limited, so advance sign-up is required. This program is meant to give participants practical tools they can use right away to feel more confident and in control of their finances.
Cost Info
All programming offered through this project is free of charge. There are no costs or fees required for participants to attend or take part in any workshops, classes, or activities.Student and Volunteer Success Stories
Since this is a new program, we do not yet have student or volunteer quotes or success stories to share. As the program grows and participants complete the sessions, we plan to collect feedback and success stories (with permission) to highlight the positive impact of the program and share them publicly in the future.
