Mission Statement: To increase literacy among adults, children and families by way of a community
team effort. (Reading Allies Collaborative Literacy Program)
Vision Statement: To enhance families' ability to achieve community equity
Short Term Goal: Develop by Mid-May, 2023 a Corps of Community Adults and Allegheny College Students who have been trained in Orton Gillingham Multi-Sensory literacy
strategies for families with young children--learning together.
Long Term Goal: Operational Corps of fully prepared and available Literacy/Resiliency teams of Community/College Student personnel ready to support student/family/adult literacy action plans.
