Program Overview
Fayette County Community Action Agency operates the Community Training Institute, a PA Department of Education approved, private-licensed school. Currently, we offer a Nursing Assistant course. Students complete 7 weeks of classroom instruction, hands-on skills practice, and clinical service to prepare for daily quizzes, skills evaluation, and the course final exam. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm for classroom instruction and from 7:00am to 1:00pm for clinical experience. Class seating limit is 10 students. Graduates sit for state certification exam. Employment and Financial Coaching are available for all.
Cost Info
Workforce training (Nursing Assistant course) has a fee, but funding is available for out of school youth ages 18-24 who meet eligibility. All other services are free.Education services
