Program Overview

Immigrant Connection is committed to helping immigrants thrive through legal and educational resources. Family Resource Nights are a way to get help navigating the school system, practicing English, and connecting to the local community while your child gets the help he/she needs. Family Resource Night provides language, literacy, and social-emotional programming for students from immigrant communities and promotes quality learning for both children and their caregivers. Educators, town employees, and volunteers will work together to provide one on one or small group instruction and practice. English literacy will be a top priority while gaining familiarity with school system procedures and employees as well as applicable community services. Attendees will leave with tools for supporting their child's educational journey and a better understanding of navigating their local community. We meet at Hamilton SE High School on Wednesdays from 5-6:30pm.
